The primary function of this position is to ensure titration levels are maintained during the cleansing process.

Essential Duties:

• Perform proper steps to assure metal surfaces are fully cleaned, rinsed and prepared for painting
• Must perform PH checks as necessary
• Maintain and calibrate PH meters
• Clean and refill titration tanks as directed
• Able to use overhead hoist to lower parts/baskets into titration tank
• Must follow all EPA regulations as related to this position
• Accurately reports shop floor production data via computer terminal and/or written reporting
• Follows both visual and written work instructions in order to complete assigned tasks within set time allotted
• Performs cycle counting of parts and material handling duties as required
• Supports, communicates, reinforces and defends the mission, values and culture of the organization
• Adheres to all quality and safety standards
• Supports other projects and performs duties as assigned

Education/Experience/Other Skills and Abilities:

• High School diploma or GED preferred  
• 1-3 years related industry experience preferred
• Familiar with Military Specifications:  TTC-490, MIL-DTL-5541, MIL-DTL-53072
• Must possess an understanding of basic mathematical skills as well as a general knowledge of measures and units
• Ability to work from verbal/written instructions
• Able to operate fork lift
• Able to work in extreme heat and with hazardous chemicals
• Must be able to operate small power tools, other hand tools, computerized and high-pressure equipment
• Frequently lifting up to 50lbs., occasional lifting up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE), as required per plant rules
