Description

Hobby Lobby Stores is a privately held corporation that is looking for a bright, talented, and motivated individual to work as a full-time Import Post Entry Clerk in the International Department. As an International Post Entry Clerk you will review documents created by International vendors to process for payment as well as reconcile all Customs documents to ensure accuracy.  This is an entry-level position. 

Function

• Review documents and reconcile data for payment processing to overseas vendors
• Review documents and reconcile data used to clear shipments by customs
• Conduct research: compile data, spreadsheets, etc.
• General clerical duties: copying, printing, filing, and scanning documents, etc.
• Correspond with internal & external business partners 
• Create and modify documents using Word, Excel, and Adobe

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must possess exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to focus and apply analytical thinking
• Team-oriented, possessing a positive attitude and works well with others while effectively able to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to prioritize, organize, and multi-task in a flexible, fast-paced environment to effectively meet deadlines
• Strong organizational skills
• High level of interpersonal and communication skills to work across functional and organizational lines
• Ability to learn and adapt to various web-based reporting tools
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions

Education

• High school diploma or general education degree

Experience 

• 2 – 5 years' work experience in a related field a plus
