HOK is seeking a Senior Landscape Design Professional to join our collaborative, multidisciplinary team in our Kansas City studio. This role is ideal for a creative, technically strong professional who is passionate about design excellence, sustainable solutions, and shaping meaningful places and communities. As a Senior Landscape Design Professional, you will contribute to the planning, design, production, and delivery of projects across a wide range of scales and project types. You will work as an integral member of project teams while also taking ownership of assignments that require independent judgment, problem solving, and leadership. RESPONSIBILITIES   Under the guidance of senior staff : Develops, modifies, and reviews planning documents according to established standards. Works on a full range of assignments in the delivery of all project phases and construction administration. Develops, modifies and reviews master plan reports, construction documents and specifications. Develops solutions to technical and design problems following established standards.  Incorporates Integrated Sustainable Design solutions into projects. Displays ability to create design concepts and expresses graphically. Compiles data and performs elementary design computations. Performs benchmarking research on programming, comparable projects and images. Assures HOK document standards are met and archives documents appropriately.  May assist team in construction administration document management. Reads and understands Agreements to Work within budget, schedule, work plan and client constraints. May mentor and direct the work of intern staff. Actively promotes collaborative and innovative culture. Fosters a commitment to external and internal client service. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture or architecture. Master's degree in landscape architecture or urban design preferred.  3 to 5 years' experience; or equivalent in appropriate education and experience required.  Master's degree in landscape architecture or urban design may also be required. LEED credential required within twelve months of employment. OTHER Travel may be required Overtime may be required   #LI-CN1
