The job#responsibilities are to#assist laboratory staff, clinical staff and patients in a diverse role within the#clinical laboratory. The Laboratory Assistant will register and receive specimens, enter specimen#data into a software system, prepare samples for further laboratory analysis, perform#COVID-19 /Flu/Strep molecular testing, transport specimens to other labs and clinical departments.#Responsibilities include: customer service, training, answering phones, entering precise and#accurate data, adherence to laboratory regulations and performance of testing according to standard#operating success. REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma and previous work experience required.#Bachelor#s degree in Biology,#Microbiology,#Health Science or similar#preferred. Previous#experience in a healthcare setting or medical laboratory experience is strongly preferred.
