LEAD ONCOLOGY REGISTERED NURSE# The Lead Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) will take charge as a working lead, actively directing and engaging in clinical care within the oncology unit. This position demands strong leadership in coordinating, assigning, and supervising RN staff while maintaining direct patient care responsibilities. Core duties include conducting patient infusions, managing staff schedules with precision, enforcing departmental scheduling guidelines, spearheading nursing practice oversight, and delivering comprehensive training and mentorship to new personnel. The Lead Oncology RN is instrumental in ensuring excellence in patient care and driving operational efficiency across the department. REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Current license within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Registered Nurse with Oncology certification preferred; current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation; current ACLS certification or certification within one year of hire; Three#years of experience as an RN with two years of experience in Oncology, Hematology,#or#BMT#experience preferred
