Holyoke Medical Center is a proud 219-bed community hospital that has served the healthcare needs of the Pioneer Valley for over 125 years.# We continue to grow and address the needs of our community through quality and patient-centered care.# Our#laboratory team is looking for an ASCP registered, or registered-eligible, Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician who believes in our Lab#s Mission Statement of working collaboratively to ensure quality results for every patient every time. Duties include specimen testing, as well as specimen processing and clerical duties. Schedule: M-F 8a-4:30p, with rotating weekends and holidays 7a-3:30p. We are able to be flexible with the weekday shift hours. Weekly hours in Hematology, and coverage in other lab depts as needed and able.# REQUIREMENTS: For MT/MLS#- Bachelors degree with successful completion of sciences mandated for eligibility for MT/MLS ASCP licensing exam. For MLT - Associates degree from an accredited program as a Medical Laboratory Technician# OR# Bachelors degree in an appropriate science with eligibility for MLT ASCP licensing exam. All Candidates:#Experience in or knowledge of Hematology required. Prefer MT/MLT Generalist knowledge and/or experience. Applicants must have: A passion for caring about a community through quality work in a stand-alone hospital lab. A drive for learning new practices to be able to adapt to our rapidly growing test menu. A willingness to offer new ideas to the team to help with our culture of continuous improvement.
