At ID Logistics, our internship program provides students with the opportunity to apply their academic understanding in a real-world, business-driven environment. This internship provides a blended approach to broaden the student’s knowledge of an exposure to Human Resources and the supply chain industry. The intern is responsible for supporting the business strategically through idea generation, analysis, and innovation. The internship program includes visibility to upper management, professional training, and networking opportunities. Will follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices, confidentiality agreements, and report noncompliance when observed. In addition, the candidate will observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate. The HR intern is responsible for providing support to the HR team within the DC. Assists in projects related to initiatives specific to the site or our admin building they are supporting, while ensuring all deadlines and deliverables are met. The project can be associated HRM systems, project management assistance, and employee support. Responsibilities * Projects require operational observations, data collection, cross functional communication, and problem solving * Process mapping and creating standard work instruction SOPs, BOMs etc. * Performs analytical work within the assigned functional area. * Conducts research using the internet and other sources of information. * Creates or updates systems or databases for specific department needs. * May assume the duties normally performed in the department, alongside professionals who perform these roles. * Works with various departments and/or vendors to gather information needed for various projects. * Completed projects will be presented to the management staff at the end of internship * Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed * Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate * Other duties as assigned Term: * Summer co-op (May-Aug) - 20-40 hours a week * Potential option to extend summer internship as co-op (20 – 40 hours/week) for fall or spring semesters. Locations: Taylor or Scanton, PA Pay Rate: $15 - $18/hourly * Currently enrolled in Bachelors/master’s program in HR Management * Knowledge of Human Resources systems, policies, and processes * Effective HR operational skills and presentation skills * Effective research and communication skills * Software skills, including use HRMS, ATS, and applicable time management systems * Enthusiasm, idealism, creativity, and dedication to getting results * Ability to work collaboratively and independently * Ability to interact and communicate effectively across business units * Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled
