Position Overview

If you’re an Industrial Engineering student who wants an internship that actually levels you up, this is it.


The ID Logistics Engineering Internship Program gives you hands-on experience in a fast-moving supply chain environment where your work matters. You’ll turn classroom knowledge into real solutions through process improvement, data analysis, and continuous improvement projects inside active operations.


You won’t be watching from the sidelines — you’ll collaborate with the best of the best engineers and see how data, design, and operations come together at scale.


Program Details


  • Work Location: On-site  Atlanta, GA metro area or West Jordan, OH




  • Term: Summer 2026




  • Work Schedule: First Shift  Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM (Part-time as needed)




  • Work Travel: Less than 10% domestic travel




  • Compensation: $25.00/hour




  • Benefits: Eligibility for part-time benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k) match, and more for select roles




Key Responsibilities


  • Innovate & Analyze: Work on real process improvement and data-driven initiatives that impact operations




  • Collaborate & Learn: Partner with operations and engineering leaders across safety, quality, inventory, packaging, planning, and maintenance




  • Cross-Functional Exposure: Participate in operational observations, process mapping, SOP and work instruction development, and vendor collaboration




  • Drive Excellence: Support GMPs and safety standards while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Candidates must be a junior or senior pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Industrial Engineering, Packaging Engineering, and/or Supply Chain Operations
  • Cumulative 3.0 GPA or better
  • Must have at least one prior internship in a similar industry 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Industrial Engineering, Packaging Engineering, and/or Supply Chain Operations related discipline
  • Industrial Engineering, Packaging Engineering, and/or Supply Chain Operations related discipline
  • Experience in logistics, manufacturing or a similar industry
