Description of the Position:


Operations  Coordinator will contribute to the success of the operational excellence plan by competently meeting clients’ goals while supervising a profitable and efficient cross-dock shift.


 


Responsibilities:


Responsible for one or more of the following the daily controlling and expediting the flow of inbound and outbound freight or overseeing the flow of loaded breakdown


Projects number of loads to be shipped to each club daily


Reviews of appointment schedules to ensure all appointments on premises are unloaded within two hours L.O.S.


Coordinates trailer movements utilizing Yard Management System


Ensures labor coverage as intended required to match daily workload


Utilizes systems and software for process design and reporting efficiency


Ensure meeting customer deadlines in receiving and shipping inventories


Assigns appointments and inbound drops to appropriate doors


Assigns empty trailers for loading to appropriate Club door


Assigns inbound trailers to dock doors


Supervises loading and ensures maximum cubic feet and weight requirements are met


Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed.


Control and expedite the daily flow of inbound and outbound freight, including oversight of loaded breakdown activities.


Project the number of loads to be shipped to each club on a daily basis.

Use systems and software to support process design, planning, and reporting efficiency.


Organize the daily movement of products to support efficient receiving and shipping operations.


Ensure customer deadlines are met for receiving and shipping inventories.

Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.


Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule: M-F  from 7am to 3:30pm 


Pay Rate: $24.00hr 


 



Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Three years of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Self-motivated with a positive approach to assigned tasks.
  • Team player who follows written and verbal instructions.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Ability to sit, walk, or stand for long periods of time.
  • Experience using RF technology, data entry systems, Excel, and Microsoft Office.
  • Preferred: operational experience and knowledge of SAP, ERP/MRP systems, and a variety of warehouse management systems.
  • Preferred: bilingual in English and Spanish.
