Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring an Inventory Control Clerk to contribute to our Operations team in Fort Wayne, IN.

$15.50/hour to start.  Eligible for increase after 120 days!

Schedule:  Mon-Fri 7:00am to 3:30pm

What You'll Do:

  • Performs daily cycle counts such as Force/Counts, Problem Titles, and randomly selected titles and enters quantity into RF (Radio Frequency) terminal.
  • Performs line by line verification by scanning location and ISBN into RF terminal to verify correct title, ISBN, quantity, and price; types in appropriate indicator to flag and identify area of discrepancy; enters found product information into RF as necessary once line by line transaction is complete.
  • Verifies previously identified discrepancies (ISBN numbers, Found products) as listed on the Found Product Report and Line by Line report and consolidates misplaced product into one location.
  • Researches titles on slash report to determine if stock was depleted or overlooked due to inaccurate location code or error.
  • Validates discrepancies from previous cycle counts and lost and found adjustments as indicated on the inventory Adjustment Reconciliation Report. 
  • Works Empty Reports for both Overflow and Forward Pick areas to verify that the title is not in either location. 
  • Performs cycle counts on over Ships and Possible Gains Reports to verify the inventory discrepancies they indicate.
  • Operates motorized equipment (forklift).


Qualifications

  • 1 year of consecutive work experience
  • 6 months work experience which included walking, standing, lifting/carrying, pushing/pulling, gripping/grasping, bending, squatting/kneeling, twisting/turning, climbing, crawling, reaching above shoulders, typing/keyboard

Essential Physical Demands

  • Ability to walk and stand continuously during the assigned shift
  • Ability to pass physical examination that includes testing for satisfactory vision (distance, peripheral, and depth perception) and hearing exams for safe operation of motorized equipment
  • Ability to pass motorized equipment certification
  • Ability to escalate up to 25 feet in height on equipment
  • Ability to lift/carry in full range of motion up to 60lbs during the assigned shift – 10lbs or less continuously and 11-60lbs frequently
  • Ability to grip/grasp continuously during the assigned shift
  • Ability to bend, squat/kneel, twist/turn, climb, crawl, reach above shoulder, and type/keyboard frequently during the assigned shift
  • Ability to work designated shift including overtime as required, which could include time before or after the designated shift and/or weekends
  • Exposure to wide range of temperatures
