Intertek's project-related assurance, testing, inspection and consulting services are the risk management and quality assurance partner you need to ensure the reliability, safety and performance of your new developments, existing assets and facilities. 

Intertek's Building Science Solutions (BSS) group is primarily focused on building enclosure consulting, commissioning, and field performance testing for new construction and retrofit projects.

What are we looking for?

The Project Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to the Phoenix, AZ office. 

Schedule: Monday - Friday

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Generate, proof and finalize project deliverables 
  • Database entry and maintenance in iConnect and Oasis
  • Assist with updating and maintaining resumes and project profiles
  • Prepare invoicing for review by Project Managers
  • Review, edit and process technical reports 
  • Provide back-up support for other department administrative staff 
  • Perform other responsibilities, as assigned
  • Follow and enforce safety requirements and company policies
  • Maintain brand identity in accordance with department and corporate requirements
  • Edit, proofread and finalize proposals – meeting deadlines
  • Perform data entry maintenance in CRM and iConnect 
  • Assist in maintaining, reviewing, editing, updating and inventorying resumes and project profile sheets 
  • Review/edit PowerPoint presentations
  • Perform training for co-workers/new employees 
  • Create organized billing from spreadsheet data
  • Grow client relationships through positive interactions
  • Assist in the proofreading and finalization of reports
  • Assist with client visits / industry events as needed
  • Assist with other department and administrative tasks as requested

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • 5+ years directly related experience with customer interaction and billing
  • Willing and able to work overtime and/or flexible hours, as needed by the workload of the business
  • Knowledge and understanding of services provided by Building Science Solutions
  • Be detail oriented with strong proofreading skills such that work product is correct and final without the need to be reviewed by others
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, including grammar and spelling
  • Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Adobe Acrobat
  • Good organizational skills 
  • Excellent grammar and spelling in order to proofread and edit technical reports 
  • Must be able to multi-task and function in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines
  • Willing and able to work independently as well as part of a team to effectively support the department and contribute positively to team moral
