What are we looking for?
The CDL Additive Technician is responsible for safely performing fuel additive treatments and delivering chemicals to vessels, terminals, and pipelines. This includes driving company trucks, handling chemicals, operating pumps, and completing accurate job paperwork. Most jobs are local, with occasional out-of-state travel as needed. This position will travel at least 25% to 50% of the time out of state.
Shift/Schedule: 24/7 on-call schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Salary & Benefits Information
The base wage or salary range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00 per hour. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.

What you'll do:
- Perform additive injections on vessels, at terminals, and pipelines
- Drive company trucks to transport and deliver chemicals (CDL required)
- Load, unload, and transfer chemicals safely
- Set up and operate pumps, hoses, and injection equipment
- Complete all required paperwork, including BOLs and delivery tickets
- Follow DOT, safety, and company rules at all times
- Communicate with coordinators, customers, and terminal personnel
- Inspect and maintain trucks, trailers, and equipment
- Travel to job sites (mostly local, some out-of-state)
- Work long and flexible hours based on job demands

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid CDL required
- Must meet DOT driving and safety requirements
- Ability to work on-call and flexible hours
- 24/7 on-call schedule
- Must be able to travel (mostly local, some out-of-state)
- Valid driver's license and reliable driving record is required.
- Must have or be able to obtain a TWIC card
- Ability to lift, climb, and work at heights
- Comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions
- Lift 50 lbs. (minimum)
- This is a remote position; however, applicants must reside in and be able to legally work in the United States.
Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:
- Experience in oil and gas, chemical handling, or field services
- Experience driving CDL trucks and hauling liquids or chemicals
- Hazmat endorsement (preferred)
- Experience operating pumps or similar equipment
- Strong safety awareness and work habits
