Finance Manager

Intertek PSI, is searching for a Finance Manager to join our Building & Construction team in our Arlington Heights, Illinois office.  This is a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career in the architectural, engineering, and construction (A/E/C) industry!

Salary & Benefits Information

The base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $170,000. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.

The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing all financial/accounting operations for Intertek-PSI and MT Group. 

What you'll do:

  • Financial responsibility for eight Intertek entities: MT Group LLC (374), Materials Testing Lab, Inc. (375), Hawks Acquisitions Holding, Inc. (505), Hawks Acquisition Sub, Inc. (506), PSI Acquisitions, Inc. (507), Professional Service Industries Holding, Inc. (508), Professional Service Industries, Inc. (509), and Hi-Tech Testing, Inc. (514).
  • Manage month-end close process to ensure timeliness, completeness and all reporting deadlines are met.
  • Manage Lawson ERP/PSIQEST system; monitor user access and security, manage chart of accounts, establish general ledger structures
  • Complete timely indirect cost rate submittals to state DOT authorities to ensure approval for state projects
  • Provide financial information as required to Intertek Tax
  • Review of all balance sheet reconciliations monthly and timely submittal of balance sheet trackers
  • Monitor and manage working capital throughout each month
  • Review and approval of all invoice corrections
  • Provide needed financial data to and work with operations as needed to enhance operational efficiencies
  • Perform other duties as required.

 

What it takes to be successful in this role:

  • Master's in accounting required, CPA preferred
  • 8+ years accounting management experience required.
  • Must create cohesive work environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of ERP information systems, Lawson/PSIQEST, ADP Vantage Payroll, Monarch, Concur, ImageNow, Microsoft
