What are we looking for?
The Sr. Field Technician is responsible for performing a variety of testing, project-specific observations, and site assessment duties under general supervision and in accordance with established procedures.
Salary & Benefits
Competitive Pay: Up to $30.00 per hour, based on experience, certifications, and industry qualifications. What you'll do
- Operate testing equipment and perform field testing of soils, concrete, and other construction materials, providing assessments through detailed reporting
- Utilize project drawings, specifications, and diagrams to perform testing and inspections
- Follow established methods and procedures to make detailed observations of site activities and provide limited interpretation of results
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of test results
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and project team members

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
- Two or more years of construction materials testing experience required
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required
- REAL ID-compliant driver's license or state-issued identification required
- ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician Grade I certification required
- Ability to lift, move, push, and pull 30 to 50 pounds frequently and occasionally lift more than 50 pounds with assistance
- Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and distinguish sounds accurately
- Ability to kneel and squat occasionally and stand or walk for extended periods
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold
- Ability to climb occasionally and work at varying heights
- Ability to work overnight and non-traditional shifts
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed
Preferred Requirements & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Additional ACI certifications and other industry-related certifications preferred
