Video Editor Animator Quality Specialist
Intertek is searching for an Video Editor Animator Quality Specialist to join our Frameworks team.
JOB SUMMARY
We're seeking a highly skilled Video Editor & Quality Specialist to join our growing creative team. In this fast-paced, remote role, you'll take our training content from script to screen by editing, designing, and ensuring every piece meets the highest visual and instructional standards. You'll combine your technical expertise in Final Cut Pro X (FCPX), AI and Adobe Creative Suite with a meticulous eye for detail to deliver consistent, high-quality training content that engages and educates learners.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

Edit video content using Final Cut Pro X (FCPX), with a strong emphasis on creating high-quality motion graphics.
Collaborate closely with scriptwriters and other team members to understand the content and ensure a clear and engaging narrative.
Utilize Adobe Photoshop (PS) and Illustrator (AI) for graphic design and creation of visual elements.
Work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines.
Stay up to date on the latest video editing trends and software advancements.
Use AI technology to render images, videos and graphics to use in edits
Stay up to date on latest AI trends
Serve as the quality checkpoint for all deliverables ensuring visual, audio and instructional excellence
Review and validate content for consistency, accuracy, grammar, visual clarity, and brand compliance with a high emphasis on training retention
Establish and maintain quality control standards and checklists.
Provide structured feedback to team members to drive continuous improvement in quality
Track and document recurring quality issues and contribute to refining workflows to prevent rework.
Work closely with team to align on visual tone, brand and instructional objectives.
Support the continuous enhancement of templates, assets and workflows to ensure scalability and consistency.
Perform other duties as required.
ESSENTIAL RQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience as a video editor, with a proven track record of creating compelling training content.
- An absolute mastery of FCPX, including advanced editing techniques and motion graphics creation.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator, for graphic design and asset creation.
- A keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of visual storytelling principles.
- The ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines consistently.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A self-starter with a "hop in and go" mentality, requiring minimal onboarding.
- Proven ability to conduct thorough quality reviews, identify inconsistencies, and implement improvements.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred requirement.
Experience with After Effects or similar motion graphics software.
Experience with Synthesia AI, Sora, Chat GPT, Canva
Background in quality assurance, media review or content compliance workflows.
A portfolio showcasing your video editing skills and ability to create engaging training content (link to your portfolio a plus).
