- First Time Travelers Accepted
- Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RN's to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW). The last day for IN RNs to start a NEW contract is 9/9 (allows them to finish a contract by 11/30).
- Periop/OR RN's, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. These IN travelers are allowed to work past the 11/30 deadline. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS
- Shift Requirements: 3x12 or 4x12 Nights
- Every other weekend
- Will work with RN to balance preference and unit needs
- Skillset Requirements: Med/Surg, pre/post neuro surgery, total joint replacements, Trauma Level I, II, III, or IV, IV Start required. Ortho trauma, & interpretation/management of dysrhythmias preferred
- Floating Requirements: Yes
- Staffing Ratios: 1:5-6
- Minimum Experience Required: 18 months
- Unit Information: Orthopedic, GYN, Urology, Neurosurgery, Medical patients
- Total Joint Replacements
- Continuous Bladder Irrigation
- Hysterectomy
- Chest Tubes
- Neurosurgery
- ENT Surgery
- All Bone Fractures
- All medical diagnosis (COPD, Pneumonia, UTI, Cellulitis, COVID, Small Bowel Obstruction, etc.).
