We have immediate opportunities for candidates with deep expertise in Microsoft Purview to help enterprise customers build scalable, intelligent data governance programs. In this senior, customer-facing role, you'll guide organizations in implementing unified data catalogs, domain-based governance models, and data quality frameworks using Microsoft Purview.

You'll act as a trusted advisor across information architecture, compliance alignment, and metadata strategy; enabling customers to maximize data value while maintaining control, visibility, and trust.

Salary Range: $95,000 - $110,000K based on experience

Location: Remote

Primary Work Includes:

  • Guide customers in the design and deployment of Microsoft Purview, with emphasis on catalog unification, asset classification, and domain-based governance.
  • Lead working sessions to align data mapping, lineage tracking, and business glossary development with organizational needs.
  • Provide strategic guidance on configuring data quality scans, rules, and insights for critical assets across hybrid data estates.
  • Help define collections and domains to support decentralized governance and role-based access models.
  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to align governance strategy with compliance, analytics, and operational goals.
  • Support the development of reusable frameworks, naming conventions, and governance playbooks tailored to the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Ensure alignment with Microsoft's best practices for metadata management, data trust, and cloud-scale governance.

The experience you'll need to excel in the role:
  • Governance Platform: Microsoft Purview (Unified Data Catalog, Lineage, Business Glossary, Sensitivity Labels)
  • Data Architecture: Domain-driven governance, data stewardship models, metadata curation
  • Quality & Classification: Data quality scans, asset classification, policy assignment
  • Integration: Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Power BI, SQL DB, Microsoft 365
  • Security & Access: Collections, RBAC, sensitivity labeling, compliance controls
  • Frameworks: Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework, Responsible Data Practices
  • Data Lifecycle Management: Content Management Lifecycle to optimize system efficiency
