Kamehameha Schools is currently looking to fill 2 ERP Engineer positions. One is a Senior ERP Engineer position. Our ERP Engineers work closely with our business units to support their changes & modifications to their ERP systems. We are in the process of implementing Oracle Cloud solutions. If you have Oracle ERP, EPM, and/or OCI/OIC experience, that is a plus!
Our ideal candidate will have…
- 3+ years of experience in supporting or implementing ERPs. Experience with ERP systems config, systems administration, module integration development & support.
- Oracle Cloud Fusion and/or Finance domain business knowledge highly preferred.
- Strong analytical and customer relationship/support skills
This is a full-time, hybrid role based out of our Kawaiaha'o Plaza location.
Our targeted salary range is $105,900 - 145,000, depending on experience level.
Unfortunately, we are not able to offer relocation assistance, visa sponsorship, nor are we able to accommodate a100% remote working arrangement.
We are also not working with 3rd party vendors at this time.
Job Summary
Provides technical expertise to support functional leads and optimize ERP system capabilities. Evaluates the impact of vendor-delivered updates and configuration changes to ensure system stability and alignment with business needs. Leverages technology tools, enhance operational efficiency through systems administration, security, and data analytics while maintaining data integrity and ecosystem cohesion. Collaborates closely with business units, support vendors, and enterprise technology support services to implement system changes in accordance with organizational standards, polices, practices and service delivery model.
Essential Responsibilities
System Security
Ensure compliance with organization's information technology (IT) controls, including separation of duties, proper approvals, and documentation for critical business processes.
Support ERP system security configuration issues and errors in coordination with the vendor.
Maintain security configuration changes while ensuring adherence to internal IT control requirements.
Applies established policies for security, change management, and application lifecycle governance.
Support internal and external audits, handle routine security tasks, including user access, setup, and administration.
Technical Configuration/Development
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and design, develop, and implement ERP system enhancements.
Serve as a technical resource throughout the development lifecycle, along with post-deployment support and maintenance.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to top-tier critical applications through root cause analysis, research, and program debugging to resolve and support business units.
Configure, customize, install and enhance system functionalities based on business requirements.
Integration Support/Development
Support system maintenance, upgrades, enhancements, and integrations with other major systems and domain experts.
Troubleshoot and resolve integration errors and issues, ensuring minimal system disruption and continuous data synchronization between ERP and external applications.
Partner with the Enterprise Integrations team to define integration requirements, design solutions, and establish testing approaches for new integrations or updates to existing ones.
Develop new integrations for top-tier critical applications to support business units, their processes, capabilities, and toolsets.
Recommend and design integration changes to improve operational efficiency, streamline processes, and reduce costs across systems and workflows.
General Support/Troubleshooting
Partner with functional teams to understand day-to-day processes and monitor operational process gaps for continuous improvement and risk mitigation.
Execute operational and project-related change requests and resolve incidents independently or in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide insights.
Maintain up-to-date documentation of system changes and perform system testing and performance tuning to ensure optimal functionality.
Engage in system user groups and community forums to identify potential issues and improvement opportunities.
Manage top-tier critical applications, addressing defect fixes, patches, and application enhancements based on business unit priorities.
Continuously monitor developments in emerging technologies, including AI and machine learning trends, to inform and enhance ERP solutions.
Position Requirements
Minimum Qualifications - An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for the requirements listed.
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology Management Information Systems or a related area.
Minimum 3 years of general major/business-critical applications support and IT experience.
Experience with supporting complex technical systems.
Working knowledge of integration technologies, capabilities, and developing/testing efforts.
Ability to learn new technology and concepts quickly with excellent analytical/technical aptitude.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Experience contributing to projects and managing assigned tasks.
Objective-oriented with dedication and commitment to job duties.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Highly motivated individual with good customer relationship & support skills.
Demonstrates a high level of integrity in handling confidential information.
Proven ability to adapt to shifting priorities, technologies, techniques and timelines.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, XML, and BI tools.
Proficient with Microsoft 365
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience supporting or implementing enterprise applications or systems, end user support, troubleshooting analysis or technical equivalent experience.
Familiar with Workday or PeopleSoft Experience, supporting users, configurations, integration technologies, and application security concepts.
Well-versed in Oracle Fusion ERP, EPM, OIC implementation and integration.
Experience with SQL Server Database Development concepts - T-SQL, MS SQL Profiler, SSIS packages, etc.
Experience with Oracle BI Publisher, Workday Custom Reports, Power BI, Tableau or related BI toolset.
Experience with project management, business analysis, and development and testing methodologies.
Knowledge of enterprise technology systems and concepts that support business goals and strategic initiatives.
Experience working with a remote consulting team(s).
Physical and Mental Requirements

Occasionally stand and/or walk, write by hand, and lift and/or carry, push and/or pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.

Working Conditions (including Environmental Conditions)
This position may involve traveling to various locations, including neighbor islands to conduct business.
Work is conducted in an office/school environment and may require work to be conducted in non-standard workplaces.
Work is typically conducted Monday through Friday at normal business hours but evening and weekend hours are often required to meet goals and objectives
