Kelly Services seeks a Senior Software Quality Assurance (QA) professional who can take ownership of quality throughout the software development lifecycle. This role involves designing and executing test plans, contributing to automation, and working closely with development, business, and product teams to ensure the product meets the expected standards of functional and Non-functional requirements for ATS.
- Work on Test planning, test case design, execution, and defect tracking.
- Ensure that comprehensive functional, integration, and regression testing is performed for every release.
- Actively involved in the requirement discussion and providing feedback from a QA perspective.
- Own end-to-end testing for one or more modules/applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Development, DevOps, and support.
- Familiarity with tools such as ADO, Jira, and any of the automation tools, such as Katalon, Playwright, and Selenium, for test execution and management.
- Log, track, and validate defects, and contribute to root cause analysis and defect prevention.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (e.g., Sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives).
- Support User Acceptance Testing with test data setup, scenario execution, and defect triage.
- Document test cases, test results, and test coverage in tools such as ADO and JIRA.
- Contribute to release readiness activities, including smoke testing, deployment validation, and production health checks.
- Experience with Perform API testing using tools such as Postman/Ready API, validating service interactions, and data exchange.
- Implement and manage the integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/GitHub actions/Azure DevOps for automated test execution.
- Optimize test execution time by implementing best practices in automation.
Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experiences:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field experience.
- 8+ years of experience in software testing with 2 years of experience in testing ATS applications such as KSN, Bullhorn, etc.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC/STLC, and agile/Scrum processes.
- Proficient in writing SQL queries for data validation.
- Familiarity with API and E2E testing involving multiple systems.
- Excellent Analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Katalon Studio/Selenium/Playwright tool for web, API, and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, and DevOps, to ensure high-quality software releases.
- Implement and manage the integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/GitHub actions/Azure DevOps for automated test execution.
- Implement shift-left testing to ensure early-stage automation coverage throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Mentor and guide junior/Manual QA engineers in test automation framework design, scripting, and maintenance.
- Stay updated with the latest automation tools, trends, and best practices.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience of ATS and enterprise application testing, such as Bullhorn, KSN, Workday, etc.
- Should be able to independently (or with minimal support) develop and enhance scalable and reusable automation frameworks to improve test efficiency and maintainability.
- ISTQB or equivalent Certification is a plus.
