Our Vice President, Enterprise Talent Management – New Logo Sales is responsible for leading a high-performing sales team, driving revenue growth, and expanding market presence. This role combines strong leadership with disciplined sales execution, structured planning, and a consultative approach to developing client relationships.
The Sales Leader ensures the team is performing at a high level, consistently advances opportunities, communicates value effectively, and executes a repeatable sales process that results in measurable growth for Kelly.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales representatives to achieve territory and overall gross profit goals
- Conduct ongoing skill development in areas such as effective questioning, active listening, objection handling, and value-based communication
- Establish clear expectations, track performance metrics, and conduct regular pipeline business reviews and accuracy checks of forecasts
Sales Process Execution
- Ensure the team follows a structured, repeatable sales process from initial outreach through implementation
- Guide sellers in understanding customer operating reality and identifying meaningful business problems
- Coach team members in moving clients through the buying/decision process
- Identify needs, investigate options, resolve concerns, and arrive at a purchasing decision
- Oversee development and quality of Client Meeting Plans, prospecting strategies, and follow-up activities
- Ensure team members are extremely competent with Enterprise Staffing and MSP Solutions
- Ensure team members have baseline competency in all ETM solutions, including BPO, RPO, SPS, and PPO/EOR solutions
- Ensure team members are aware of the breadth of all Kelly solutions, and cross-sell with other Kelly businesses to provide outsized commercial opportunities for Kelly
Market & Territory Strategy
- Develop strategic plans to capture new business opportunities within a defined territory
- Align with Territory VPs on ideal customer profiles and targets
- Exercise prospecting discipline within the defined territories
- Analyze market conditions, competitive pressures, and customer trends to guide team focus
- Partner cross-functionally with marketing, solutions design, Deal Shaping, and operations to ensure a cohesive client experience
Relationship Development
- Support the team in building long-term, trust-based relationships across multiple levels of client organizations
- Promote the advancement of clients from competitive to cooperative to collaborative partnerships
- Model consultative behaviors that demonstrate credibility, concern for customer success, and competence
Coaching, Training & Development
- Deliver consistent coaching that strengthens team members' planning habits, prospecting discipline, and sales acumen
- Provide constructive feedback based on observed behaviors and data, not assumptions
- Encourage continuous professional development and create an environment where learning is ongoing and expected
Operational Excellence
- Maintain accurate records in CRM, ensuring visibility into team performance and upcoming opportunities
- Implement standard workflows for prospecting and client retention
- Monitor KPIs and develop action plans when performance gaps appear
Essential Skills, Knowledge, & Experiences:
- Minimum of 12 years of expertise developing and implementing sales strategies and forecasting models, preferably in the staffing industry leading Staffing, MSP, BPO, PPO, RPO, SOW, and / or a combination of areas
- At least 5 years of experience in a leadership or coaching capacity
- Demonstrated success leading teams to exceed revenue and performance targets
- Experience with consultative or value-based selling approaches
- Strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to assess sales opportunities, build pursuit strategies, and influence outcomes
- Proficiency in HubSpot and sales analytics
- Inspires high performance and accountability
- Ability to plan, forecast, and execute effectively
- Strength in observing, diagnosing, and improving sales behaviors
- Understands financial, operational, and competitive drivers affecting clients
- Clearly articulates value, expectations, and direction
- Demonstrates perseverance, adaptability, and strong habits
Role is virtual, with 25% or otherwise required travel
