2nd Shift Production Supervisor
Location: Skokie, IL
Salary: $70,000 - $75,000
Type: Direct Hire
Hours: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
This is a permanent, direct hire position with full benefits.

Job Description:

  • Direct daily operations in assigned departments, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Manage continuous improvement projects and participate in R&D for new product developments.
  • Oversee associate performance, accountability, and development.
  • Coordinate and optimize staffing and schedules; mentor department leads.
  • Address safety and quality concerns; initiate corrective actions.
  • Facilitate accident reporting and equipment maintenance.
  • Maintain QA standards and manage audit preparation.
  • Conduct and validate employee work documentation.
  • Support cross-departmental initiatives and company priorities.
  • Actively engage in continuous improvement and efficiency tracking.
  • Conduct RedZone forums and review quality checks.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Associate degree or 3-5 years of manufacturing experience, with at least 2+ years in food manufacturing supervision.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in audit documentation and computer applications.

Training Requirements:

  • Complete GMP, allergen, safety, HACCP, and SQF training.
  • Understand HR policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Participate in annual continued education (40 hours).
