Description

Kelly Services is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Coordinator/Administrator for a 6-month temporary position to join a manufacturing supplier in the Columbus, OH area. This role supports the financial and administrative functions within the organization, focusing on expense tracking, reporting, and budget management.

Key Responsibilities:

    • The ideal candidate will bring strong Excel skills, a basic understanding of financial processes, and the ability to work effectively on-site in a fast-paced environment.
    • Manage purchase requisitions, tracking expenses, and ensuring alignment with budgetary limits.
    • Support the approval process by reviewing expenditures against budget allocations and reporting discrepancies as needed.
    • Demonstrate a basic financial understanding of the scrap process, ensuring accurate accounting and reporting of related expenses.
    • Generate and download data from SAP or other purchasing platforms, transferring information into Excel for management reporting.
    • Create and maintain financial reports, ensuring data accuracy and clarity for decision-makers.
    • 2+ years of accounting  working experience
    • High school diploma REQUIRED
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data manipulation and report creation.
    • Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is a plus but not mandatory.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and management.
    • Payrate: $22-24.00 an hour
    • 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday/100% onsite
