Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounts payable processes, vendor management, and financial reporting. Proficiency in Microsoft Business Central is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Invoice Processing: Receive, verify, and process invoices in a timely and accurate manner while ensuring compliance with company policies and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Payment Management: Prepare and execute payments to vendors, ensuring accuracy and adherence to payment schedules.
  • Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of accounts payable transactions, vendor statements, and financial records, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Expense Management: Assist in tracking and managing expenses to support budget adherence and financial transparency.
  • Vendor Relations: Maintain strong relationships with vendors, addressing inquiries and resolving payment issues professionally and efficiently.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all accounts payable activities comply with GAAP standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements. Assist in financial reporting related to payables, cash flow, and outstanding liabilities.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for improving accounts payable efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments and international partners to ensure smooth financial operations and compliance with financial guidelines.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.
  • Strong knowledge of debits, credits, and GAAP principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Business CentralExcellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
