Accounts Payable Specialist opening in Chicago, Pilsen area
Duration: Permanent
Location: Chicago, 60608 Pilsen area – parking provided – 100% onsite
Salary $40,000 – 50,000

Hours: 7-4p or 8-5p

  • Organizing high volume payables obtained from managers at multiple locations.
  • Reconciling invoices that require supporting reports.
  • Entering payables for multiple companies.
  • Processing all aspects of weekly check runs.
  • Reconciliation of vendor statements.
  • Investigating and resolving invoice payment discrepancies.
  • Communicating with vendors via phone and email.
  • Preparing monthly and weekly reporting for assigned entities.

Requirements:
  • 2 + years experience within full cycle accounts payable is required.
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Proficient working within an ERP system
  • Efficient and high degree of accuracy in data entry; willingness to proofread.
  • Ability to work well in a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment working within Accounts Payable preferred
