Job Title: Accounts Receivable Processor
Location: Las Colinas, TX
Job Type: temp - to - perm
Salary: $25 - $27/hr

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Processor to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years of solid experience specifically in accounts receivable, with a deep understanding of accounting processes and financial systems. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable process, ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions, and supporting our team during the ERP system implementation.

You will also serve as the key point of contact between our US-based team and our headquarters in the UK, providing expert guidance on US-specific accounts receivable processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accounts Receivable Management: Process and manage customer payments, prepare invoices, and ensure accurate recording of accounts receivable transactions.
  • Journal Entries: Prepare and post journal entries related to receivables, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
  • ERP System Implementation: Support the implementation of the ERP system, ensuring seamless integration and optimization of the accounts receivable module.
  • Communication with UK Headquarters: Explain and clarify US-specific accounts receivable processes, policies, and practices to the UK headquarters team.
  • Ledger Management: Maintain accurate general ledger accounts, ensuring all entries are recorded in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Reporting & Reconciliation: Prepare and assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports related to accounts receivable and general ledger activities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to resolve payment discrepancies and ensure proper billing.
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience: 5-8 years of experience in accounts receivable processing, with a strong background in general accounting, financial systems, and ledger management.
  • ERP Knowledge: Experience with ERP systems (implementation or maintenance), with a focus on the accounts receivable module.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to clearly explain and communicate complex accounts receivable processes to teams across international borders (specifically to the UK headquarters).
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Strong understanding of financial accounting systems and processes.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve accounts receivable issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing financial transactions and accounting records.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience working in a multinational company with cross-border communication and collaboration.
