Now Hiring- Administrative Assistant Location: Glastonbury, CT
Pay Rate: $20/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

- Screening telephone calls for the Team Manager and facilitating communication between patients/families and other team members
- Managing daily schedules for all team members
- Attending weekly team meetings, preparing agendas, and following through on assignments
- Establishing, maintaining, and closing patient charts, including mailing and following up on required documentation
- Providing back-up documentation to the Billing Department as needed
- Ordering and tracking D.M.E. (Durable Medical Equipment)
- Entering patient care data into Vx and event tracking systems
- Communicating with staff and outside agencies as directed by the Team Manager
- Maintaining lists and schedules for part-time staff and ordering supplies
- Handling routine correspondence and processing patient care mail
- Maintaining A.D.T. (Admission, Discharge, Transfer) records and checking census daily for accuracy
- Covering for other patient care secretaries during absences
- Have a High School diploma or equivalent
- Possess three years of prior work experience (preferred)
- Have good typing skills and are computer literate
- Are able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Demonstrate excellent communication and telephone skills
