Position: Administrative Assistant (File Management)
Location: Nashville, TN
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
Duration: 3-6 Month Temporary Position
Pay Rate: $18/hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to assist with file management, including scanning and shredding documents. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, organize, and categorize physical files for scanning.
- Operate scanning equipment to digitize documents and ensure high-quality images.
- Maintain an organized digital filing system for easy retrieval of scanned documents.
- Safely shred sensitive documents in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of office supplies and equipment related to file management.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure effective workflow and adherence to deadlines.
- Perform general administrative tasks as needed, such as data entry and clerical support.
- Uphold confidentiality and data protection standards when handling sensitive information.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in office administration is a plus.
- Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably with file management responsibilities.
- Proficient in using office equipment, including scanners, shredders, and computers.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Physical Requirements:
- This position may require prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.
- Regular lifting of up to 35 lbs is required.
