We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to support operations for our client in Port Allen, LA. If you bring expertise in transaction reconciliation, finance tracking, and SAP, this is a great opportunity to strengthen your administrative skills in a collaborative team environment!

Location: Port Allen, LA (Near Baton Rouge, LA)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm
Pay Rate: $29.57/hr
Duration: 1 year (Possibility of extension)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to department and Team Lead
  • Reconcile transactions and manage P-card processes
  • Perform timekeeping, payables, and financial tracking
  • Maintain office supplies and coordinate ordering
  • Schedule meetings and prepare possible travel itineraries for the team
  • Answer phones, type correspondence, file documents, and distribute mail
  • Manage records and calendars
  • Coordinate meetings and conferences
  • Work on special projects: recording, compiling, retrieving, reporting, and analyzing information

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • One to  three years of relevant administrative experience
  • Proven experience with SAP, timekeeping/payables, P-card management highly preferred
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated organizational and multi-tasking abilities
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to identify and help resolve issues, with moderate direction
