Position: Administrative Assistant- Event Planning
Pay rate: $20 - $25 per hour
30 - 40 hours per week
Job Description Summary
This role supports the planning and execution of company meetings and events, coordinating logistics such as venue selection, registration, communications, transportation, and on-site support. The position builds and maintains vendor relationships, manages data, and ensures high-quality attendee service.
Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED; bachelor's degree or 2 years' related experience preferred
- Intermediate MS Office skills - Computer skill requirements include intermediate MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook.
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and provide quality service
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours
- Bachelor's in Hospitality/Business
- Meeting planner certification (CMP or CMM)
- Experience in corporate event planning
- Advanced problem-solving and analytical abilities
