Kelly Services is hiring an Advanced Composite Technician II to support Gulfstream, a world-class aircraft manufacturer, at GAC Savannah, GA 31408. This is a long-term 48-month contract opportunity offering a weekend day shift schedule in a high-precision aerospace manufacturing environment.

Schedule: Weekend Day Shift | 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Summary of the role:

Under moderate supervision, the Advanced Composite Technician II performs composite part manufacturing functions in a production environment. Responsibilities may include lay-up, cutting, bagging, autoclave processing, trimming, and repair of composite aircraft parts.

Key responsibilities:

• Manufacture a variety of composite aircraft parts to meet manufacturing specifications in a team-oriented environment

• Meet Manufacturing Competency requirements at the appropriate level during Employee Effectiveness Reviews

• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, lofts, sketches, and operation sheets to determine proper sequence of operations

• Use specialized tools and precision measuring equipment, including 6" scale, 1" micrometer, and 6" dial caliper

• Inspect completed work to ensure defect-free assemblies prior to inspection

• Maintain and accurately complete all required logs and records (MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs, DR/DI, etc.)

• Maintain a neat and orderly work area and support FOD, 5S, and safety programs

• Support Lean manufacturing initiatives

• Perform other duties as assigned

Must-have qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED (required)

• Minimum of two (2) years of related composite experience

• Ability to work with composite resins and materials

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints

• Ability to read and interpret a 6" scale

• Basic computer skills

• Valid driver's license required

Other requirements:

• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position

• Ability to work any shift, as required
