Kelly Science is seeking an Animal Care Technician II for a growing company located in Boston, MA.
 
Pay: $27.00-$28.75/hour
Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
Employment Type: Full Time; Temp-to-Hire
 
Job Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for the daily maintenance of the animal facilities (sanitization of animal rooms & equipment) and providing appropriate daily husbandry to animals (predominantly rodents).
• Responsible for providing and ensuring optimal vivarium service support to the Site Operations in vivo research (client) community.
• Responsible for consumable supplies inventory management, ordering/receipt of incoming animals & supplies, performing basic veterinary care/treatment functions, and maintenance of relevant facility records.
• Responsible for document management and compliance with all institutional (IACUC, QA), governmental and accrediting protocols & policies.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required. Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or a related scientific field preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience working within a laboratory animal care/vivarium setting.
• AALAS-LAT certification required.
• Must have strong communication skills and be comfortable communicating with clients regularly.
