Temporary Accounts Receivable/Payable Specialist – Part-Time

Location: Detroit Lakes, MN
Duration: Approximately 3 months (April–July)
Hours: Flexible, 10-30 hours per week
Pay Rate: $20/hour

Our manufacturing client in Detroit Lakes, MN, is seeking a Temporary Accounts Receivable/Payable Specialist to provide part-time support. This is a great opportunity for someone with AR experience to contribute to a dynamic accounting team for the next three months.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, including invoicing, payments, and collections

  • Support Accounts Payable (AP) tasks as needed

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions

  • Communicate with customers regarding outstanding balances

  • Maintain organized records and assist with general accounting duties

Qualifications:
  • Experience in AR or working with collections (AP experience is a plus)

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

  • Ability to commit to part-time hours for approximately 12 weeks

  • A 2-year degree in Accounting is preferred, but not required
