Temporary Accounts Receivable/Payable Specialist – Part-Time
Location: Detroit Lakes, MN
Duration: Approximately 3 months (April–July)
Hours: Flexible, 10-30 hours per week
Pay Rate: $20/hour
Our manufacturing client in Detroit Lakes, MN, is seeking a Temporary Accounts Receivable/Payable Specialist to provide part-time support. This is a great opportunity for someone with AR experience to contribute to a dynamic accounting team for the next three months.
Responsibilities:-
Assist with Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, including invoicing, payments, and collections

Support Accounts Payable (AP) tasks as needed

Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions

Communicate with customers regarding outstanding balances

Maintain organized records and assist with general accounting duties

Experience in AR or working with collections (AP experience is a plus)

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Ability to commit to part-time hours for approximately 12 weeks

A 2-year degree in Accounting is preferred, but not required
