Location: Miami Florida
Salary $100K-$110K plus bonus


Job Overview:
A leading company in pioneering technologies and solutions in the commercial automotive industry is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive sales performance within the Latin America region. This role is essential in achieving business objectives such as volume, market share, product mix, and profitability, while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and maintaining a strong brand reputation.
The Area Sales Manager will provide commercial leadership, develop strategic relationships with partners, and implement sales strategies, all while managing the performance of the sales department against key targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the agreed new truck sales volume and meet profitability objectives within the Latin America region.
  • Collaborate with importers to develop and execute annual business plans, sales forecasts, and market strategies.
  • Deploy competitive sales, product, commercial, and pricing strategies in partnership with importers, headquarters, and finance teams.
  • Maintain strong relationships with importers and ensure top-notch customer satisfaction and brand experience.
  • Manage and optimize product offerings for the assigned markets, ensuring specifications meet local needs.
  • Develop and implement marketing and communication plans in collaboration with importers.
  • Ensure efficient inventory management to optimize stock for wholesale and retail needs.
  • Work with finance teams to develop attractive financing options and proactively manage payment collections.
  • Lead and support commercial training and product presentations for importers.
  • Oversee sales-to-order and order-to-delivery processes, including monthly demand reviews.
  • Coordinate monthly and quarterly business review meetings with key stakeholders.

Qualifications:
  • Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in sales/commercial roles within the commercial vehicle industry.
  • Strong understanding of sales, spare parts, service, retail development, and marketing in the automotive/trucks sector.
  • Experience working with Latin America's automotive/truck businesses.
  • Proven track record in sales planning, execution, and change management.
  • Strong commercial acumen and communication skills.
  • Ability to initiate, negotiate, and influence diverse partners with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Strong leadership and motivational abilities to engage and inspire partners.
  • Proactive and process-oriented approach.
  • Good technical understanding of commercial vehicle products, systems, and applications.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written) is required.
