Job Overview
As an Assembly Operator, you will play an essential role in the production of fiber optic components used in critical aerospace applications. You'll operate automated machinery, assemble and test components, and ensure product quality through detailed inspections. Key Responsibilities-
Assemble, polish, and test fiber optic cables and connector components.

Terminate single and multi-fiber cables with precision.

Inspect your own work using established quality standards and work instructions.

Measure and verify components using calipers, gauges, and other measuring tools.

Conduct functional and quality tests as needed for production operations.

Read and follow detailed blueprints and technical drawings.

Perform general housekeeping and maintain an organized work area.

Complete all required production documentation for product traceability.

Troubleshoot and perform minor equipment repairs as necessary.

Follow all safety, environmental, and company policies and procedures.

Recognize and correctly handle common fiber connectors.

Apply appropriate cleaning and contamination control methods for optical assembly.

Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

High School Diploma or GED required.

Minimum one year of manufacturing experience preferred.

Experience in fiber cable manufacturing a plus.

Familiarity with SAP Manufacturing systems and ISO 9001 standards preferred.

Ability to read blueprints and use hand tools effectively.

Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and remain in a stationary position for extended periods.

Must be able to operate machinery and move between work zones as needed.

Proficiency in reading and understanding written instructions in English.
