Job Title: Assembly Specialist - Custom Assembler

Location: Farmersville, TX. 

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour

Shifts: Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM (Fridays and Saturdays as required by workload will be considered overtime)

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Assembly Specialist - Custom Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling custom retail store fixtures according to specified drawings. The ideal candidate will have extensive cabinetmaking experience and a solid understanding of the woodworking industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble custom retail store fixtures per specified drawings.
  • Safely and efficiently operate all required hand tools, including nail guns, cordless drills, and belt sanders, at a high skill level.
  • Read and understand all parts of a work order packet, including drawings, cut lists, and bills of material.
  • Oversee 3-4 associates within a work cell based on your skillset, demonstrating quality workmanship while maintaining a pace consistent with co-workers.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following established processes and guidelines.
  • Exhibit a strong work ethic and self-motivation in all tasks.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in cabinetmaking and woodworking processes.
  • Ability to work safely with moderate supervision.
  • Strong understanding of assembly processes and techniques.
  • Excellent reading comprehension of technical documents and drawings.
  • Leadership skills to oversee and mentor less experienced associates.
  • A solid work ethic and self-motivated attitude are essential.
