Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6:30am-5:00pm (4 days/10-hour shift, OT on Fridays as needed and may be mandatory)
Pay: $15.45/hour
Position Summary:
The Assembler position performs all tasks involved in the assembly of the company's products using manufactured and/or purchased components. What's a typical day as an Assembler?
You'll be:
- Working within a station that is part of a larger assembly line assemble intricate large or small mechanical built products for lawn mowers and snow blowers.
- Following all production processes to maintain a consistent workflow to ensure safe operations, quality products, and consistent delivery
- Inspect paint quality and coverage, component defects, and operation of all working parts.
- Working as a team player and following standards and directions and take immediate action to correct and/or report any unsafe conditions and hazards.
- Utilizing basic knowledge of hand tools and communicating verbally with team members
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required;
- Ability to read instructions represented in manuals, drawings, schematics etc. and follow them with precision.
- Good understanding of quality control principles.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written).
- Experience and ability in using hand tools.
- Age 18 years or older.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Team-oriented, positive, professional attitude.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in manufacturing
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift for extended periods.
