Job Title: Production Assistant Floor Manager
Job Summary
Are you a skilled multitasker with a knack for mechanics and a flair for communication? Join our dynamic team as a Production Assistant Floor Manager at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. In this role, you'll ensure smooth operations on the production floor, troubleshoot machinery, and manage daily tasks efficiently.
Job Specifications:
• Job Type: Full-time
• Location: Augusta, GA
• Pay Rate: $19/hour
• Shift: 7 PM-7 Am (12 hour rotating shift)
Roles and Responsibilities
• Oversee daily production activities to ensure efficiency and compliance with safety standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machinery issues promptly.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management to relay production status and any issues.
• Maintain accurate production records and logs with clear handwriting.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless workflow.
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
• effectively partner with our client, in departments including but not limited to safety, quality, production, HR, maintenance, shipping/receiving.
• Train and mentor new staff on production processes and machinery operation.
• Attend and engage in monthly training(s) for QA/Safety/professional development.
Qualifications & Skills
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent handwriting for maintaining clear and accurate records.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Mechanically inclined with experience in troubleshooting machinery.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
