Kelly Science is seeking an Associate Project Manager for a growing client located in New Haven, CT. This is a hybrid opportunity that requires partial on-site presence at the facility in New Haven, CT. 

Pay: $38/hr
Employment Type: Full Time; Temp-to-Hire

 
Position Overview:
This role involves assisting team leadership in overseeing the essential functions and operations needed to support clinical studies. Key responsibilities include managing project operations, such as budget oversight, monitoring timelines, and facilitating communications. As an Associate Project Manager (APM), you will communicate with project teams and study collaborators to ensure that project milestones and sponsor requirements are fulfilled. This collaborative position requires you to build and maintain strong relationships with various stakeholders, including study cores, vendors, and study sponsors.
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships across the clinical research ecosystem—internal study teams, sponsors, vendors, and core facilities.
  • Manage project meetings and calls: schedule sessions, develop agendas, coordinate participants, and track follow-up actions.
  • Support regulatory and compliance-related actions such as IRB submissions.
  • Assist with study contracts, budgets, amendments, and financial tracking.
  • Prepare study metrics and visit projections for reporting and leadership meetings.
  • Monitor project timelines and progress across multiple sites and studies; identify areas for process improvement.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to manage invoicing and reconciliation tied to project milestones.
  • Contribute to internal growth by supporting the development of processes and standard operating procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific related field.
  • Excellent time management, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong communication skills with comfort leading internal and external project-related meetings.
  • Previous experience in clinical research or life sciences project coordination strongly preferred.
  • Occasional travel may be required for in-person meetings.
