Job Title: Beer Quality Control Specialist with Forklift Experience Location: Savannah, GA
Shift: Monday - Friday, 5pm until finished
Pay: $18/hr
Job Summary:
The Beer Quality Control Specialist is responsible for accuracy in beer pallets while ensuring safety and efficiency in the logistics environment. The role involves making corrections, reporting errors, and handling materials according to company policies.
Responsibilities:

  • Check beer pallets for inaccuracies; make necessary corrections.
  • Ensure loads are properly stacked, secured, and stable.
  • Maintain records to report in-house errors and monitor picker accuracy.
  • Submit daily power equipment checklist to the manager.
  • Report safety or mechanical problems with power equipment in writing.
  • Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe facility.
  • Ensure logistics department security.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Six months of experience preferred
  • Experience with pallet jack, forklift, and power equipment preferred
Critical Skills:
  • Attention to detail
  • Basic math and ability to learn company technology
  • Knowledge of company products and computerized hand-held devices
  • Inventory and Quality Control expertise
Working Conditions:
  • Proficient in a non-temperature-controlled environment exposed to heat, humidity, and weather
  • Work occasionally in refrigerated areas
  • Exposed to moderate to loud noise and dust/fumes from equipment
Physical Requirements:
  • Reliable attendance
  • Operate pallet jack/forklift frequently
  • Ability to lift (50-65 lbs), perform overhead lifting
  • Specific vision abilities required
