We are seeking for Bilingual (English/French) Collections Representative-Maternity Leave Coverage. Great opportunity to work with a renowned automotive company! Long-term career growth available.

This will be an ongoing assignment through Kelly Services.

Shift and Pay Details:

  • Location: Headquarters of Nissan Canada Inc., Mississauga (close to Highway 401 & 427; accessible by Public Transportation).
  • Hybrid: Work on-site Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday while enjoying working from home the rest of the week!
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, rotation shift (4 to 5 weeks 9am-5:30pm and 1 week 11:30am-8pm).
  • Compensation: $25.00/hr. (bilingual English & French) + 4% Vacation Pay + Eligible Statutory Holiday Pay + Vehicle Purchase Plan + Kelly Services Benefits available.

Responsibilities:

  • Collection of outstanding customer payments.
  • Responding to customer and dealer inquiries via a toll-free number with verbal and written correspondence.
  • Contacting customers to follow up with insurance proof to update records on customers' files.

Ingredients for Success:

  • Bilingual Proficiency: Excellent communication skills in both French and English, verbal and written.
  • Education: Minimum high school diploma.
  • Experience: Working in Collections or Accounts Receivables.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Word/Excel/Outlook and adaptability to new computer systems.
  • Skills: Multi-tasking, analytical abilities, and attention to detail and accuracy.

What's a Typical Day as a Collections Representative?

  • Collection calls and/or correspondence on past-due accounts greater than 5 days. Make arrangements to bring delinquent accounts current.
  • Provide customer service regarding collection issues, process and review account adjustments, and resolve client discrepancies.
  • Accountable for reducing delinquency in the assigned region and queue. Must communicate and follow up effectively with customers, dealers, and team on a daily basis.
  • Identify accounts that require additional research or skip tracing. Take necessary action to ensure timely contact with the account.
  • Answer incoming calls from customers and dealers regarding inquiries.
  • Follow training and quality models to ensure proper collection methods are used and quality customer service is provided during all calls.
  • Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the Collections department.
