Senior North American Payroll Tax Professional
Join a dynamic team as a Senior North American Payroll Tax Professional, where your expertise in Canadian and North American payroll tax will drive our compliance and operational excellence. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively across borders, manage complex payroll tax challenges, and contribute to high-impact projects—all while enjoying the flexibility of remote work and a supportive, growth-oriented environment.
Job Specifications:

  • Fluent in French Quebecois
  • Job Type: Full Remote
  • Location: Remote (North America)
  • Pay Rate: $37.50/hr-$38.88/hr
  • Shift: Standard Business Hours (Some OT during end of year)
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate as a team to ensure proper compliance with North American payroll tax regulations
  • Participate in quarter-end and year-end reconciliations
  • Conduct in-depth North American payroll tax research, processing, and compliance
  • Resolve tax notices and communications with ADP
  • Prepare North American payroll tax audit documentation as assigned
  • Research liens and offsets for federal, state, and local agencies
  • Complete daily North American payroll tax funding and reconciliations
  • Validate and reconcile North American payroll tax processes
  • Oversee quarter-end and year-end payroll tax processes, including audits and final validations
  • Fix payroll errors and review/analyze T-4 & T4M forms
  • Register tax withholding and unemployment accounts with state and local agencies
  • Respond to employees' W4 requests and tax application questions
  • Manage cases and tickets per established SLAs, delivering customer-focused responses
  • Correct payroll tax errors as needed
  • Support during busy seasons (quarter-end and year-end)
  • Test new tax forms and implemented payroll platforms
  • Participate in assigned projects
Qualifications & Skills:
  • 5 to 8 years of North American payroll tax experience
  • Canadian Payroll Tax experience required
  • Hands-on experience with T4 & T4M reconciliation
  • Analytical background and proven problem-solving capabilities
  • Fluent French Quebecois required for tax notice resolutions 
  • Experience with ADP payroll systems
  • Advanced knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations
  • Detail-oriented with strong reconciliation skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work remotely and independently
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
