Kelly Services is seeking a Bookkeeper for a busy volunteer organization located in Orlando, FL 32809

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper with knowledge of Quickbooks (Online) and proficiency in financial reconciliation. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for accurately recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, preparing financial statements, analyzing financial trends, and ensuring compliance with reporting requirements and company policies. This role requires experience in fiscal year-end financials and previous experience with tax return preparation. If you have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a passion for maintaining accurate financial records, we invite you to join our team.

Job Specifications:
- Job Type: Temporary assignment 2-3 weeks only
- Pay Rate: $18/hour
- Shift: 10-15 hours per week

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Record financial transactions: Accurately record financial transactions, including cash, checks, and vouchers, and post them to the appropriate accounts.
- Reconcile accounts: Reconcile entries to ensure the accuracy of transactions and the final account balance.
- Prepare financial statements: Prepare financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and ledgers.
- Analyze financial trends: Study financial trends to help determine future business needs.
- Create budgets and forecasts: Assist with creating budgets, financial forecasts, and quarterly reports.
- Ensure compliance: Ensure legal compliance with reporting requirements and company policies and procedures.
- Maintain records: Maintain and update the general ledger and trial balance.
- Use accounting software: Utilize Quickbooks, spreadsheets, and databases to manage and automate financial tasks.

Qualifications & Skills:
- Proficiency in Quickbooks ( Online) and other accounting software. Required
- Strong knowledge of financial reconciliation and fiscal year-end financials.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
