Bookkeeper – Accounting Assistant

Fulltime Direct hire or Temp to Hire

Onsite 5 days a week

Salary $24-$28.00 per hour

Exciting opportunity for small but growing business to add an Accounting Assistant/Bookkeeper to their staff.

This is 5 days onsite in Newark Delaware office. Great boss, and great culture with the opportunity to learn and take on more responsibilities. Focus will be on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, if you are willing to learn and grow company will train on additional responsibilities.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Receiving payments from customers daily
  • Entering bills from vendors daily
  • Preparing checks weekly to pay vendors
  • Preparing commission reports monthly
  • Invoicing customers for shipments made daily
  • Biweekly payroll
  • Month end financial reports, bank reconciliations, ect.

 

Qualifications:

  • Must have QuickBooks experience client is not willing to train
  • 3-5 years of general accounting experience
  • Must be detail oriented and able to work independently reporting directly up to the President
  • Can do attitude
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Microsoft Office experience including Excel
