We're seeking a Cabinet Maker II to work with our client Gulfstream, an industry leader in aircraft manufacturing, located at Savannah, GA 31408.

What's a typical day as a Cabinet Maker II? You'll be:
  • Fabricating aircraft furniture and wood-surfaced subassemblies using blueprints, design, and engineering drawings

  • Assembling and finishing cabinet shells, including installing hardware and applying laminates, veneers, and trim materials

  • Using hand and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble parts with precision

  • Maintaining compliance with all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards

  • Tracking work and parts using the company's material tracking system

  • Supporting process improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma techniques

This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:
  • A High School Diploma or GED

  • Basic knowledge of cabinetmaking processes, products, and tools

  • At least 2 years of experience in cabinetmaking

  • Experience in the aerospace industry (preferred)

  • Familiarity with Gulfstream inspection and process specifications (preferred)

You'll also need to:
  • Be able to read, write, and understand English

  • Be physically able to climb ladders, work in small spaces, and lift up to 40 lbs

  • Be comfortable working any shift

  • Be computer literate
