How about this one? We're seeking a Sleep Care Technician to work at Apria, a leading US provider of home healthcare equipment in Fredericksburg, VA. Why should you consider a position as a Sleep Care Technician?

  • 1st Shift: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday through Friday 
  • $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide care and support to patients of all ages, including assessments and care planning.
  • Set up and troubleshoot sleep therapy equipment based on prescriptions.
  • Educate patients on equipment use, safety, and maintenance.
  • Monitor patient progress and encourage therapy compliance.
  • Document all patient interactions and complete required paperwork.
  • Address patient concerns and escalate issues when needed.
  • Collect and process payments as necessary.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

  • Understand and prioritize the needs and goals of patients.
  • Proactively identify and respond to problems and opportunities.
  • Strong team player who works well across departments.
  • Clear, concise, and compassionate verbal and written communication.
  • A genuine desire to help others and improve patient health outcomes.
  • Able to establish trust and maintain positive relationships with patients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to interpret and create data using spreadsheets.
