Chemical Distillation Engineer
Location: Conshohocken, PA
Salary: 70,000 to $120,000 Depending upon experience

POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary responsibility of the Distillation Engineer is to work with the Plant Manager for the supervision of plant personnel and operations. Candidate will coordinate scheduling of operations, including raw materials and finished product logistics, working with customers to meet their needs, and ensuring required environmental documentation and safety of operations is met. 

Duties and Responsibilities:
•    Understanding of current union contract terms and conditions.
•    Coordinate with the maintenance department to ensure any plant mechanical problems are addressed in a timely manner.
•    Coordinate with the Technical Director regarding any quality issues.
•    Maintain all environmental records and still operators daily work notes.
•    Responsible for oversite of plant operating parameters including production targets, product quality and emissions monitoring
•    Responsible for management of inventory materials including scheduling of incoming and outgoing raw materials and finished products
•    Maintain manufacturing process to include required documentation and procedures
•    Maintain work schedules for operations employees including vacations and PTO
•    Ensure compliance with manufacturing operations and Safety requirements
•    Ensure compliance with DEP, EPA, and Hazardous Material Regulations

Education and Experience
•    Bachelor Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
•    Team orientated
•    Experience with gas/chemical production is helpful but not required
