Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking a Chemistry Lab Technician role in Germantown, WI.

Direct Hire

Shift: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm

Compensation: $25-27/hr DOE

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES INCLUDE: 

• Coordinate and execute daily processing of received waste stream samples and testing.
• Conduct compatibility sampling and testing for processing and treatment of waste.
• Coordinate the sampling and testing of outbound waste.
• Conduct daily laboratory equipment calibration, maintenance and operations.
• Provide customer support as requested.
• Assist in the documentation and resolution of discrepancies.
• Maintain current knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards to maintain compliance with local, state and federal environmental regulations.
• Maintain standard operation procedures and work instructions for functions/activities under area of responsibility.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor of Science in chemistry or related discipline required.
• Experience working in waste, chemical or related facility (preferred).
• Comfortable working with and around hazardous materials/waste.
• Strong communication, problem solving and relationship building skills.
• Ability to work as a member of a team, as well as, an individual.
• Proficient computer skills.
• OSHA 40-hour Hazwoper trained (preferred).
