This is a direct hire CNC Machinist position, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their competitive benefit and vacation package upon hire.

Details:
• 1st shift Monday – Friday 6:00am-2:00pm
• $27.00-33.00/hr. based on skills and experience
• Franklin, WI
Position Responsibilities:
• Set-up and operate CNC lathes and mills to produce components including machine set-ups, tool changes and offsets
• Complete product inspections including first piece and in-process inspection
• Prepare programs and complete program adjustments as well as tool changes and offsets
• Document quality inspection/conformance information
• Assist in developing work instructions and process sheets
• Suggest and participate in LEAN projects and continuous improvement activities
• Collaborate with Support staff, programming, quality and technical support to develop new processes and products and to isolate/troubleshoot noon-conforming results
• Assist in providing coverage for other positions in the department as needed
Required Experience:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of CNC Machining experience
• Proficient in operating 3-axis and 5-axis CNC equipment
• CNC programming experience preferred
• Ability to use precision inspection tools such as calipers and micrometers
• Knowledge of ERP Systems, SAP preferred
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Strong problem-solving skills and math skills
