Direct Hire - CNC Machinist
Location: Columbus, OH 

2nd shift Monday thru Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:15 PM
3rd shift Sunday thru Thursday 11:00 PM - 7:15 AM
Pay: $19.50-26.50 per hour based on experience

We are seeking skilled CNC Machine Operators to join our precision manufacturing team. This role requires a detail-oriented individual capable of operating CNC machinery in compliance with company procedures and industry standards such as ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001. Operators will play a key role in maintaining high-quality standards through continuous improvement, precise machine handling, and thorough documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CNC machines, including start-up and shutdown procedures.

  • Perform hourly parts inspections and accurately record results on inspection cards, route cards, and shift reports.

  • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure correct part production.

  • Utilize CMMs (Coordinate Measuring Machines) and metrology equipment for dimensional verification.

  • Monitor tool life, change cutting inserts, and adjust tooling offsets as needed.

  • Maintain liquid levels and complete daily preventative maintenance on equipment.

  • Follow all 5S workplace organization and cleanliness protocols.

  • Support environmental, safety, and compliance guidelines.

  • Adhere to the Stop, Call, Wait safety protocol when issues arise.

  • Maintain confidentiality and represent the company with professionalism.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience operating CNC machinery.

  • Ability to read technical drawings and understand part tolerances.

  • Familiarity with manufacturing documentation and inspection procedures.

  • Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and teamwork mindset.
