CNC Machinist| Direct Hire| $25-30/hr. based on skills and experience| Walker, MI | Hours: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6:00pm-6:30am (work 36 hours, paid for 40 hours) – will train on Weekend day shift

This is a direct hire CNC Machinist position, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their competitive benefit and vacation package upon hire.

Position Information:
•    Set-up and operate a 5-axis CNC mill machine to produce components according to job specifications.
•    Accurately complete required documentation
•    Review and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to ensure precision in machined parts.
•    Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain up-to-date required safety certifications.
•    Maintain cleanliness and organization of the CNC work area and carry out routine machine upkeep.
•    Perform additional tasks assigned to support the overall success of the team.

Required Experience:
•    4+ years' experience setting up & operating 5-axis CNC milling machines or similar equipment.
•    Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
•    Strong attention to workplace safety and possession of relevant safety certifications.
•    Skilled in performing basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
•    Effective communication skills and a willingness to assist with various tasks as needed.
